The Onondaga Nation owns four major businesses. The Onondaga Nation Smoke Shop, the Nation Arena Tsha’HonNonyen Dakwha’, Firekeepers, and Plantagon. The first three businesses are located on Route 11 just off exit 16 of Interstate 81 and the fourth is headquartered in Sweden.
The Smoke Shop has been a major source of revenue for the Onondaga people. The Shop sells tax-free cigarettes 24 hours a day. For more information, call 315-469-1120.
The Nation Arena, Tsha’HonNonyen Dakwha’, is a state of the art lacrosse/ice arena. The spring and summer allows for indoor lacrosse games on the nation for teams ages 4-55. The fall and winter brings the hockey season. A variety of high school, college and club hockey teams use the ice arena as their home surface. For more information, call 315-498-6813.

Plantagon is a business focused on providing sustainable food through new greenhouse technologies.
These businesses allow the Nation to conduct programs and provide service to the people on the Onondaga Nation. Some of these programs include a water system. This water system was developed to provide all of the people living within its boarder fresh, clean, and safe drinking water.
The Nation also runs a program called Ganigonhiyoh. Ganigonhiyoh provides the Nation residents a method to cleanse their mind and body through traditional Haudenosaunee methods and modern day therapy.
