The Capital Classic was the first event in the team’s tune-up to the 2008 World Under-19 Lacrosse Championships, which will be held in Coquitlam, BC, Canada in July.
The Nationals swept all five games they played in the tournament by an average of ten goals. Contributing for the Nationals were Peter Jacobs (10G,6A), Andrew Cordia (9G, 2A), Mac Mitchell (8G,2A), Emmett Printup (8G,1A), Aaron Printup (3G, 4A), Jerome Thompson (2G, 3A).
The Nationals also sported stingy team defense and great goaltending that surrendered only thirteen goals in five games.

The Nationals would like to extend a special “Thank you” to Liz and Lou Cordia for their gracious hospitality, as well as to the host families for our players. The team would also like to acknowledge the tremendous fan support it received from family and Board members.
