The Onondaga Nation School’s primary department reached the 100 days of school milestone on February 28, 2012. The festivity was held on Thursday February 28th in order to make the end of a week celebratory especially since community give was scheduled for the following day.
The students celebrated with making posters depicting 100 favorite items, such as candied hearts, cotton balls, fruit loops, plastic men to decorative stickers. The kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and Third Graders gathered to official count to 100, by fives and tens. The 100 Day events wouldn’t be the same without singing the 100th Day song.
Teachers, Staff members, and a few 100-year-old-teachers conducted 100 Day activity centers, there were 100 Day hats, necklaces, 100 year old writings and wristbands to name a few. The festivity concluded with the creation of a 100 day cupcake display in the cafeteria to be enjoyed by everyone in the school. Just think; summer will be here in only 80 more days, Hurrah, Hurrah.
