Washington DC- On Thursday night, Miles and Lyle Thompson, Onondaga Hawk Clan, were selected as recipients of the 2014 Tewaraton Award. This is the first time that the award winners were Oñgwe’hoñwe’ (Native American), that the award was shared, and the recipients broke both the points record and goal scored record. Lyle ended the season with 128 points and Miles scored 82 goals.
“Words cannot describe how happy I am; it brought tears to my eyes. To share this award with my brother is an honor.”
Congratulations to Lyle and Miles as well as to the entire Thompson family (Jerome Sr., Delores, Jeremy, Jerome Jr., Crystal and all their relations!)
