(AP) — Native American leaders are marking the 220th anniversary of the signing of the Canandaigua Treaty today. The Six Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy signed the peace treaty with the U.S. government on Nov. 11, 1794 in Canandaigua. The Onondaga Nation says its leaders will commemorate the signing Tuesday in that Finger Lakes city along with local and federal officials.
