November 11th is the Anniversary of the 1794 Canandaigua (Pickering) Treaty. This treaty was ratified by congress and established Nation to Nation relationship between the two countries. This treaty of peace has been recognized as a great example of early American diplomacy in creating peace with Native Nations.
