On January 12, 2019, the Georgia Swarm and Philadelphia Wings played in a NLL contest where the Swarm defeated the hometown Wings 13-11. But the larger news to this game was Lyle Thompsons’ tweet following the game.
“2019 and the NLL Wings arena announcer saying “let’s snip the pony tail” to the whole arena and fans saying they’re going to scalp me…. damn Daniel.”
